 Savannah Sirens 2026-2027 Team Announcements

Port Wentworth, GA – The Savannah Sirens, the all-female youth hockey program of the Savannah Ghost Pirates (ECHL) and a proud partner of the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA), are excited to announce tryouts for the 2026-2027 fall travel season.

For the upcoming season, the Sirens will field teams in the 8U to 16U divisions, continuing their commitment to providing female hockey players with elite, age-appropriate programming. The program is dedicated to fostering an environment where players can reach their full potential, build lifelong friendships, and develop a lasting love for the game.

TRYOUTS WILL BE HELD IN JACKSONVILLE, FL at the Community First Igloo

“We’re incredibly proud of the rapid growth of girls’ hockey and the remarkable strides our Sirens players have made in the first season,” said Peter Rossi, Manager of Hockey. “Their development speaks to the passion, commitment, and love they bring to the game every day. We’re excited to continue building this momentum as we develop confident, high-level female hockey players—on and off the ice.”

“The Sirens program is built to give girls a space where they feel supported, challenged, and inspired. Through game-based learning and a strong sense of community, we’re creating an environment where female athletes develop confidence, leadership, and a lifelong love for the game. This growth reflects the belief our players, families, and community have in our mission. With access to the new Ice Cove facility coming soon, we’re expanding opportunities for long-term player development and setting a new standard for youth hockey in the region,” added Paul Esdale, Director of Hockey Operations.
